APEAPCET 2026 CBT Pattern: 160 Questions, Session Rules, No Negative Marking
If you know the exact exam pattern and hall rules, your stress reduces. This guide explains AP EAPCET CBT structure and what students should do during the 3-hour test.
Exam duration and question count
AP EAPCET is a 3-hour computer-based exam with 160 questions. Each question has four options and only one correct answer.
Subject-wise split
Engineering and Agriculture/Pharmacy streams have different subject composition, but both total 160 questions.
| Stream | Question split |
|---|---|
| Engineering | Mathematics 80 + Physics 40 + Chemistry 40 |
| Agriculture and Pharmacy | Biology 80 (Botany 40 + Zoology 40) + Physics 40 + Chemistry 40 |
Marking rules you must know
- Every question has equal weightage.
- Only one option is correct per question.
- Unattempted question does not reduce marks.
Rough work and identity checks
Use only rough sheets provided by test center and write your hall ticket number on them. Hand them over to invigilator after exam. Hall ticket identity checks may be done during exam.
No slot-change option
Candidate cannot choose custom exam date/session. Slot is known after hall ticket download. If you miss assigned slot, you will be treated as absent.
