Basic eligibility checklist

• Candidate should be an Indian National or PIO/OCI card holder as per official rules.
• Candidate should satisfy Local / Non-Local status rules of Andhra Pradesh for 2026-27.
• Candidate should meet course-specific educational eligibility before counselling/admission stage.
• If an application is incomplete or eligibility is not met, convener can reject the application.

Minimum marks requirement (important)

For many streams, candidates should have at least 45% marks in qualifying examination (and 40% for reserved category candidates) in relevant group subjects. Final admission always follows Government orders and admission authority rules in force.

Local vs Non-Local: what it means for students

• Keep last 12 years study/residence proof records ready where applicable.
• If claiming non-local category support, maintain proper certificates in notified format.
• Mismatch in local status documents can create counselling delays.
